Living in the Present, Planning for the Future

We've two stories which highlight why recording your wishes or those of a family member or friend that you’re caring for is so important. Tying in with the national Dying Matters Week campaign (2 - 6 May), two Islington residents have shared contrasting experiences of losing a friend or family member and the difference that planning ahead can make.

The reason why Joanie and Helen have shared their stories is that they hope that this might inspire others to get in touch with our Future Matters team.  Future Matters have trained, experiences volunteers who can help you to set up Lasting Powers of Attorney, a Will or an Advance Care Plan.
