Ideas for keeping healthy & happy
1) I LOVE Parks Week - 24th July
Need a change of surroundings? Given that "I Love Parks" week is coming up, why not venture to your local green space! Islington Parks are a valuable resource, and great for a stroll, a socially distanced meet up or to just sit and watch what's going on. Islington Council's website lists all 10 of Islington's parks including their facilities and their accessibility.
There's also a new website and app called Footways. You can use it to plan a walk around some of the quiet and interesting streets in central London. The possibilities are endless!
2) Understand more about a painting!
Join us this Tuesday 21st July, 11 – 12 midday
How do we learn to "look at" and understand a painting? Join us for a series of exclusive "Painting appreciation sessions" led by our knowledgable volunteer host. These sessions so far have been enormously popular, really inspiring and informative.
