Carers Week - finding a balance!

Sharing resources from this month's Let's Talk event

At our recent Let's Talk event, the Income Maximisation team explained the changes that the government is planning to make to disability benefits. This includes the new 'Right to Try' initiative which gives people the option to try out employment without the risk of losing welfare benefits if things don't work out.

Hillside Clubhouse and DWP Disability Employment Advisors gave talks on support available to help - whether building skills, confidence or getting into work. Click below for more information about the changes, the slides from the talks...and photos!
